Minister David Umahi issued a directive on Saturday for the apprehension of street traders on the rehabilitated section of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway in Aba.
Expressing dissatisfaction with their activities, he emphasized the need for adherence to the law and suggested the establishment of a task force by the governor to clear the road.
Umahi highlighted the hindrance caused by traders and urged citizens to support government efforts, emphasizing the challenges posed by the rising costs of construction materials.
Despite acknowledging the satisfactory work by the contractor, he underscored the importance of collective responsibility for the successful completion of the project.
