PDP BOT Chairman, Sen. Wabara, Applauds Governor Otti’s Developmental Strides in Abia State

At a recent gathering at the International Conference Center in Umuahia, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BOT), Senator Adolphus Wabara, commended Governor Alex Otti for his remarkable achievements in Abia State. Despite belonging to a different political party, Sen. Wabara has consistently acknowledged Governor Otti’s impactful governance.
The former Senate President emphasized that his allegiance to Abia State comes before party politics, stating that governance should take precedence once elections are over. In a lighthearted remark, he suggested that the PDP leadership in the state consider suspending Dr. Emelike Okoro, whom Governor Otti recently honored by attending his 80th birthday celebration.
Dr. Okoro also lauded Governor Otti’s leadership, describing his administration as a refreshing change for the state. He specifically praised the reconstruction of the Onuinyang-Oporoenyi Oboro Road, a project expected to boost Abia’s agricultural sector.
In his address, Governor Otti congratulated Dr. Okoro on his milestone birthday and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to competence, excellence, and impactful governance. He also announced his plans to attend the upcoming birthday celebrations of Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe and Chris Adighije.
The event underscored the ongoing transformation in Abia State, with prominent figures like Sen. Wabara and Dr. Okoro recognizing Governor Otti’s strides in development and governance.
