VFuels LLC Secures FEED Contract for a Modular Refinery in Nigeria, Sets to build Refinery in Abia State 

VFuels LLC, a leading player in the energy industry, has officially signed a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract with HSI Refining & Petrochemical Company Ltd in Nigeria.

This strategic partnership marks a significant step forward as VFuels undertakes the development of a modular refinery project with a capacity of 5,000 barrels per day (bpd). The refinery is set to process crude oil produced from a marginal field located in Abia State.

The comprehensive FEED package encompasses the planning, engineering and design required for the construction of the modular refinery. The refinery is set to play a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for energy products in Abia state as well as fulfilling the need for decentralized refining infrastructures in Nigeria.

This project aims to provide a crude oil refining solution, producing a spectrum of valuable products, including Naphtha, Kerosene, Diesel, and Heavy Fuel Oil. VFuels’ modular refinery design provides an efficient and profitable evacuation solution for oil producers in Nigeria.

With a rapid deployment timeline of approximately 18 months, modular refineries offer a swift solution for addressing the energy challenges. VFuels’ track record in delivering successful modular refinery projects across Africa further solidifies its position as an industry leader
