Abia State Government has cancelled the results of Preliminary Test Sessions (PTS) Examination, conducted recently in into the state-owned nursing schools.
Remember that the State Government had set up a special committee to look into the allegations of result manipulation and other protest issues as raised by the students.
The Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kalu, who made this known while briefing Journalists on the outcome of the week’s State Executive Council Meeting, however said investigations are still ongoing.
He revealed that the committee met with the students and the officials who are connected with the petitions and complaints from all parties.
He informed that a new date would be announced for the students to re-take the examination with no additional cost.
