Abia State Urgently Calls for Active Participation in Police Recruitment – Governor Directs Mobilization Efforts

The state Government has observed that the allocated police recruitment quota for Abia state is significantly underutilized. Unfortunately, approximately 700 candidates invited for interviews have yet to participate in the ongoing recruitment process.

In response, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, the Executive Governor of Abia state, has issued a directive to all Local Government Mayors, Chairmen of Traditional Rulers Councils, Presidents’ Generals of Town Unions, and Community leaders to promptly mobilize their youths for this crucial exercise to ensure the fulfillment of the state’s quota.

Furthermore, the Governor urges all invited candidates to attend the interview without delay. Abia state must actively contribute to Nigeria’s socio-political and economic landscape.

Candidates who haven’t participated in the recruitment exercise for any reason are urged to contact the office of the Honorable Commissioner for Information and Culture for clarifications. Reach out via call or text to 09067409284 or 08029968511.

The future belongs to our youths, and in the spirit of the new Abia, our young individuals must prepare for their future now!

Prince Okey Kanu, Honorable Commissioner for Information and Culture.
