Abia South Senate 2027: Youths Declare Support for Lawmaker Erondu Jnr

Abia Progressive Youth Coalition has endorsed the senatorial aspiration of the member representing Obingwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, describing him as the ideal candidate to advance the interests of Abia South Senatorial District in 2027.

Speaking in Aba, the coalition’s President-General, Hon. Ugochukwu Onuoha, said Erondu Jnr has continued to earn widespread support through his grassroots leadership style, people-centred programmes and unwavering commitment to human capacity development.

According to him, Abia South requires a new generation of visionary, accessible and result-oriented leaders capable of delivering effective representation and sustainable development.

“Erondu Jnr has consistently demonstrated leadership, accessibility and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people. He represents the generational shift and fresh ideas needed to move Abia South forward,” Onuoha said.

He highlighted the former Obingwa Local Government Chairman’s empowerment record, which includes the distribution of over 300 motorcycles, 92 vehicles, business grants, scholarships, healthcare support and other interventions that have impacted hundreds of youths, women and vulnerable persons across the district.

Onuoha also commended Erondu Jnr for constructing and donating 43 houses to widows and indigent citizens, describing the gesture as a testament to his compassionate and responsive leadership.

He expressed confidence that Erondu Jnr’s emergence as Senator in 2027 would attract federal projects, expand youth empowerment opportunities and stimulate economic growth across Abia South.

Onuoha who urged stakeholders and voters to support the lawmaker’s bid, maintained that Erondu Jnr possesses the experience, vision and leadership capacity required to provide quality representation at the National Assembly.

“For us, this is about the future of Abia South. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has demonstrated competence, compassion and capacity, and we believe he is well-positioned to deliver greater dividends of democracy to our people,” he stated.
