Atanda Modupe Deborah, a student of the nursing department in Stream A of the Faculty of Basic Medical Science at Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), who was reported missing on the 4th of September, 2023, has been found dead.
She was last seen in front of the pharmacy twin hall within the FUOYE campus, where she had gone out to study, but her disappearance had left her family and friends in a state of anxiety and concern.
Tragically, her lifeless body was found yesterday, September 06, bearing severe injuries to her head, and even more disturbingly, her eyes were allegedly plucked out, painting a chilling picture of the circumstances surrounding her death.
The tragic death of the victim was also confirmed in a statement released by the student union body of the school.
