Women Converge 2025: A Global Thanksgiving for Grace, Strength & the Transforming Power of Women

#WomenConverge2025 is set to become one of the most significant global gatherings of women — a moment not defined by colours or fashion, but by prayer, praise, and deep thanksgiving. It is a celebration of God’s grace upon women everywhere and His divine empowerment that enables them to lead, nurture, influence, and heal their families and communities.

Using Rivers State as a case study, recent seasons of political tension and uncertainty have shown that when crises arise, it is often women who rise first. Their resilience, faith, and courage have repeatedly served as a stabilizing force — urging peace, demanding unity, and championing collective progress.

Through this inter-faith–based platform, women gather in fervent prayer, seeking God’s guidance, restoration, and lasting peace wherever conflict exists. Their voices shift atmospheres. Their unity changes narratives. Their compassion rebuilds hope.

Yet their work goes far beyond prayer.

Women take action on the ground — reaching communities, sensitizing families, guiding young people, and confronting violence and division with dialogue, empathy, and wisdom. They are first responders in moments of crisis and reliable anchors of stability.

The renewed calm and sense of direction witnessed in Rivers State today bear the unmistakable imprint of women who refused to remain silent or sidelined.
